First Youth Forum for Syrian Expatriates in Brazil on Strengthening Young Generation’s Links to Their Homeland

The Syrian embassy in the capital Brasilia hosted the first Youth Forum for Syrian expatriates in Brazil, which discussed ways to strengthen ties between the younger generation of the Syrian community in Brazil with their homeland Syria.

The Forum touched upon the latest developments in Syria, especially in the political, economic and tourism fields, relations between Syria and Brazil and the counting of the  Syrian community on the role of the Syrian embassy in Brasilia.

For her part, Syrian ambassador to Brazil Rania Al-Haj Ali stressed the interest of the Syrian leadership in strengthening the ties of the Syrian community around the world with their homeland, highlighting the strength, heritage and legacy of Syria and Syrians for thousands of years to this day, and the importance of the Syrian community and its place in Brazilian thinking and thought, especially among Brazilian officials.

Haj Ali also stressed the need and importance of consolidating their strength as a community in Brazil so that their influence remains in the interest of the community as a whole and naturally in the interest of their homeland.
