UNSC holds emergency meeting following Haniyeh’s assassination
UN Security Council is holding an emergency session on Wednesday following the assassination of the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian resistance movement “Hamas” Ismail Haniyeh by the Zionist entity in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations Dmitry Polyansky wrote on his Telegram channel, according to the RT, that “at the request of Iran and with the support of China, Algeria and Russia, our presidency decided to hold an extraordinary meeting of the UN Security Council.”
Iran today announced that Haniyeh was assassinated in a Zionist aggression that targeted his residence place in Tehran.
