Syria, Algeria to enhance joint cooperation in social affairs

Damascus, (ST) – Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Louay Al-Munjed discussed today with Algerian Ambassador in Damascus Kamal Abu Shama areas of joint cooperation in the field of social affairs and labor and means of developing them.

Minister Al-Munjed stressed during the meeting the importance of bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries, which reflects the depth of historical relations between them, pointing to the ministry’s desire to benefit from the distinguished Algerian experience in relation to small and micro-sized projects and business incubators, in addition to benefiting from transferring Algeria’s technical expertise in this field and localizing it in Syria to be the beginning of other development projects.

For his part, the Algerian ambassador noted his country’s desire to enhance joint cooperation with Syria in many areas related to labor and social affairs, and looking forward to broader horizons for bilateral cooperation between them based on the historical relations that bind the two brotherly peoples.
