Palestine Liberation Army: The Syrian Arab Army has proven that it is a role model for all free people and defenders of the nation’s dignity

Damascus, (ST) –  The General Staff of the Palestine Liberation Army affirmed that the Syrian Arab Army has proven throughout its historical stages that it is an example and a role model and worthy of trust for all free people and defenders of the dignity of the Arab nation.

The General Staff said in a statement on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Syrian Arab Army which falls on August 1st : Our Arab nation and our Arab people in Syria celebtate on August 1 the anniversary of the founding of the Syrian Arab Army, the school of heroism and manhood and the shield of the homeland and its impregnable fence, as its valiant men have devoted their efforts and capabilities in order to perform the sacred duty of defending Syria.

The statement added: The Syrian Arab Army defended the rights and causes of our Arab nation, foremost among which is the just Palestinian cause, writing down the most wonderful heroics throughout its history and contributing to enhancing the strength and steadfastness of the Arab nation in the face of colonial projects.

The statement pointed out that the Palestinian Liberation Army seizes this great occasion to renew pride and honor in belonging to the trench of honor and dignity with the men of the Syrian Arab Army, and it is always ready to sacrifice the most precious and valuable in defense of Syria and Palestine until the liberation of every inch of our occupied Arab land.
