Iran : Investigations into Haniyeh assassination continue

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani confirmed that investigations into the dimensions and details of the assassination of the head of the Hamas Political Bureau Ismail Haniyeh continue.
 “We offer our condolences to the Palestinian people, the Hamas movement, all the Palestinian resistance factions, peoples and countries supporting the Palestinian cause,” Kanaani said in a statement on Wednesday.
He added “There is no doubt that the blood of Haniyeh and the other martyrs, who fought for achieving the liberation of  Al-Quds and  the oppressed Palestinian people from the clutches of the Zionist occupation, will never be in vain”.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman stressed that Haniyeh’s martyrdom in Tehran will strengthen the deep and strong ties between Iran, Palestine, and the resistance.
Earlier today, the Public Relations of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran after his residence was targeted.
