“Agro Syria 2024” Exhibition… An opportunity to Showcase New Products Serving the Agricultural Sector

Participants at the “AGRO Syria 2024” Exhibition stressed the importance of having a range of modern mechanization and machinery, in addition to high-quality agricultural work supplies and modern technology that contribute to increasing agricultural production and reducing its expenditures.

In a statement to the SANA, Ahmed Diab, Director of Agricultural Economics at the Ministry of Agriculture, pointed out that the economic importance of this exhibition stems from the fact that it includes various supplies for farmers and high-level modern technology, which contributes to reducing the work costs when used and thus ensuring a profit for the farmer and the sustainability of the agricultural production process.

The participants in the exhibition pointed out that the event is an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the latest modern and new technologies in agricultural mechanization, as it contributes to bridging the gap between high-priced European products and low-quality products at an acceptable price that suits the farm revenues.

They stressed that the exhibition is a chance to solve the problems that hinder the work by communicating directly with the concerned authorities, expressing their hope for the participation of a larger number of companies in the upcoming sessions, as this increases competition between them and contributes to increasing production and development.

The exhibition kicked off Wenesday evening with the participation of 55 specialized companies from five countries and its activities will continue until the twenty-seventh of this month
