The Islamic Christian Organization for Supporting Al-Quds demands firm international response to the occupation’s classification of UNRWA as a terrorist organization

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST)- The Islamic Christian Organization for the Support of Al-Quds and the Holy Sites condemned the Israeli occupation authorities’ decision to classify the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) as a terrorist organization, demanding a firm international response.

Wafa News Agency reported that the Commission today said in a statement, that this decision confirms the terrorist and brutal nature of the occupation, and constitutes an unprecedented challenge to the international community and disdain for international organizations.

The Commission referred that this is a natural result of letting the occupation practice its crimes and terrorism away from any accountability and punishment.

The Commission affirmed that this invalid decision of the occupation will not undermine UNRWA, which constitutes a living witness to the crimes of the occupation against the Palestinian people. It called on the international community and European countries in particular to respond decisively and take effective decisions and measures that confirm their support for UNRWA  financially and politically so that it can continue fulfilling its mission to serve the Palestinian people until they achieve their legitimate national rights to freedom, return, and self-determination.
