Occupation authorities force 400,000 Palestinians to evacuate the eastern neighborhoods of Khan Yunis

The Israeli occupation forces forced 400,000 Palestinians to evacuate the eastern neighborhoods of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, to the Al-Mawasi area, west of the city, coinciding with intense air and artillery bombardment on the area.

Wafa Agency reported that immediately after the evacuation orders were issued, the occupation began an intense bombing operation from the air and land without giving the residents an opportunity to leave these neighborhoods, which led to the martyrdom  of 16 Palestinians and the injury of dozens.
It is noteworthy that the eastern neighborhoods of Khan Yunis are destroyed and have been subjected to intense bombardment since the start of the aggression, and the Palestinians returned to them due to the lack of another option and place to turn to.
About a week ago, the occupation committed a massacre in the Al-Mawasi area, which resulted in the martyrdom of 90 Palestinians and the injury of 300 in a series of raids targeting refugee camps in the region.
