Protests across Europe in solidarity with Palestine

Several European capitals and cities witnessed protests today in support of Palestine and in condemnation of the Israeli ongoing atrocities against the Palestinian people, WAFA News Agency reported.

In the French capital, Paris, demonstrators gathered to demand that Israel be barred from participating in the upcoming Olympics scheduled to begin later this month.

Meantime, hundreds participated in two rallies in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, and the Danish city of Aarhus, calling for an end to the Israeli war on Gaza.

In addition to Denmark, a pro-Palestine bicycle rally took place in the Finnish capital, Helsinki, in protest of the Israeli aggression.

The German city of Salzgitter also saw a demonstration demanding an end to the aggression in Gaza.

In Istanbul, Turkey, hundreds of people took part in a march in solidarity with the Palestinian people and denouncing the Israeli occupation, with participants waving Palestinian flags.

Meanwhile, marches in the Swedish cities of Helsingborg and Uppsala condemned the Israeli aggression on Gaza and denounced the genocide against the Palestinian people.
