The Jordanian Foreign Ministry Summons the Dutch Ambassador in objection to Statements Supporting Israeli Entity

Yesterday evening, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Dutch ambassador in Amman to convey a letter of complaint to his government following statements by the Dutch extremist Geert Wilders supporting the condemned decision issued by the so-called “Knesset” in the Israeli occupation entity, which denies the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to their independent and sovereign state on their national land.

The official Petra News Agency quoted the official spokesman of the ministry, Sufyan al-Qoudat, as saying: “: The Dutch ambassador was summoned to the ministry’s headquarters and given a strongly worded objection letter to immediately convey to his government.

The letter calls on the Dutch government to take a clear position and condemn these statements which contradict the friendly relations and mutual respect between the two countries,  al-Qoudat added, noting that “the inflammatory statements made by this racist parliamentarian are of no value and legal effect, they represent a violation of international law and reflect a culture of racial hatred that must be fought.”
