Syria, Czech Republic to Activate Tourist Cooperation

Damascus, (SANA) – Tourism Minister Bisher Yazigi recently discussed with Czech Ambassador in Damascus Eva Felipi relations of tourist cooperation between the two friendly countries and ways of activating those relations, particularly in the field of medical tourism and rehabilitation of tourism.

In a statement to local press, the minister said that the meeting focused on the topics of medical tourism and actions that can be taken in cooperation with the Czech Republic for the management of therapeutic tourist sites, training and rehabilitation the Syrian cadres in this domain.

He pointed out that the Czech Ambassador emphasized her willingness to cooperate in the field of restoration of monuments in Syria, which were ruined and destroyed during the current crisis.

 The minister also noted the ties link Syria and the Czech Republic and the efforts exerted by the Ambassador to enhance the relations between the two countries.
