Six Syrian athletes to take part in Paris Olympic Games 2024

Countdown has started to the launch of the Paris Olympic Games 2024, the biggest long awaited sport event, which is scheduled to be held between July 26th and August 11th in Paris.

Syria will be represented in this major event by six champions in different sports. The champions are the show jumper Amro Hamsho, the weightlifter Maan As’ad, the swimmer Omar Abbas, the Judo player Hasan Bayan, the gymnast Leith Najjar and the runner Alisar Yusuf.

The French capital is set to celebrate 100 years since the 1924 Games.

Paris 2024 Olympics include 329 competitions in 32 games in which 10,500 athletes will take part.
