Zionist occupation perpetrates a new massacre in the west of Khan Younis, killing over 30 innocent Palestinians

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, JUL.13, (ST)-Dozens of innocent civilians were martyred and over 100 others injured this morning in a series of massive airstrikes by Israeli occupation forces on the Al-Mawasi region, located west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes launched multiple airstrikes targeting the Al-Mawasi area, resulting in the killing of at least 30 innocent civilians and the injury of over 100 more. The casualties were subsequently transported to hospitals, with many more feared trapped beneath the rubble.

Initial reports indicate a new Israeli massacre in the Al-Mawasi area, which is home to hundreds of thousands of displaced families.

Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation perpetrated a major massacre by bombarding refugee camps in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, resulting in a toll that preliminary reports indicate surpasses 100 fatalities and injuries. Among the casualties are members of the civil defense, both officers and personnel.

Rescue and relief teams continue to extract casualties from the bombarded area. There is a stark lack of hospitals equipped to handle the influx of casualties, exacerbated by Israel’s destruction of Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure by the Israeli occupation forces.

Al-Mawasi has been designated as a safe humanitarian zone by the Israeli army, which has been demanding Palestinians from all over the Gaza Strip to move to the area—falsely claiming the area was a safe have—since the outbreak of the war in early October 2023.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October last year has so far resulted in 38,345 documented Palestinian fatalities, with an additional 88,295 others injured.

Thousands more are feared trapped under the rubble and in streets, inaccessible to rescue and ambulance crews.
