First Syrian Airlines Flight Arrives in Riyadh signaling return of regular flights between Syria and Saudi Arabia

Riyadh-(ST)- The first Syrian Airlines flight arrived at King Khalid Airport in Riyadh on Wednesday morning, signaling the return of regular flights from Damascus International Airport to Saudi Arabia.

On this occasion, Riyadh Airports Company held a celebration at King Khalid Airport in the presence of Dr. Ayman Sousan, Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a number of Saudi officials in the field of air transport.

Soussan stressed that this event is a good news for Syrians and Saudis alike because it facilitates communication between the two countries and spares citizens the suffering of indirect travel.

He pointed out that the return of regular flights between Syria and Saudi Arabia is an additional step in the process of steady development of the relations between the two brotherly countries.
