Oman’s special participation in Syria’s International Flower Show at Tishreen Park

Damascus (ST) – Oman is participating in the 44th International Flower Show, which continues until the 14th of this month at Tishreen Park in Damascus, with the aim of learning about everything new in the world of plants and flowers, exchanging experiences with other participating delegations and improving the quality of flower production.

Hamdan Al-Tamimi, the owner of the Al-Saad neighborhood nursery, stated that he is participating for the first time in this event with the aim of enhancing trade exchange and learning more about Syrian flowers, the method of their cultivation, and the climate they require, especially the Damascene rose.

Al-Tamimi stressed that his nursery specializes in the production of indoor plants, and he participated in displaying some models such as German Schefflera, Croton, and some varieties of indoor and outdoor cacti and gardenias, calling on Omani companies specialized in plant cultivation to visit Syria and learn about everything new regarding plants and flowers to conclude and sign deals.

In turn, Mahmoud Al-Tobi from Abu Ali Al-Toubi Nursery indicated that he is participating through a set of ornamental plants, outdoor trees, seeds, and some agricultural equipment.

Al-Toubi noted the warm reception and hospitality he received in Syria, sending a message to all Gulf countries to visit Damascus and enjoy the atmosphere of the flower exhibition.
