Occupation forces burn agricultural lands south of Tulkarm

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) -The Israeli occupation forces on Monday set fire to large areas of agricultural lands south of Tulkarm city in the West Bank.

Wafa News Agency reported that the occupation forces stationed at the gate built on the racist separation wall west of the Artah suburb south of the city fired a barrage of light and sound bombs towards the agricultural lands adjacent to the wall, which caused fires to break out in greenhouses and crops and burn them completely.

Civil defense crews were able to extinguish the fires after a long struggle due to the winds that helped the fire spread and extend to large areas of the region’s lands.

The occupation forces have escalated their violations against farmers south of Tulkarm since the start of the aggression on Gaza Strip on October 7, preventing them from reaching their lands, which are 300 meters away from the wall, and opening fire at them, in addition to tearing up greenhouses and destroying crops.

Settlers seize lands northwest of Ramallah and bulldoze the northern entrance to Salfit

On the other hand, the Israeli settlers on Monday seized areas of land in the village of Beitillu, northwest of Ramallah, while bulldozing the northern entrance to the city of Salfit in the West Bank.

Wafa News Agency reported that dozens of settlers stormed into Jabal Mustafa in the village of Beitillu, seized areas of land, and set up tents in preparation for establishing a new settlement outpost in the area.

Settlers accompanied by a bulldozer stormed into the northern entrance to the city of Salfit, closed the iron gate at the entrance, bulldozed the road, vandalized the infrastructure, and placed cement blocks with the aim of obstructing the movement of Palestinians and preventing them from entering or leaving the city.

The northern entrance to the city of Salfit is considered the main road that connects the city to the rest of the villages and towns affiliated with it and to the cities of the West Bank.
