Palestinian Prisoner’s Club condemns the occupation’s crime of executing Palestinian prisoners

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club condemned the crime of field execution carried out by the occupation against four Palestinian prisoners from the Gaza Strip at the Kerem Shalom crossing.

The club said in a statement on Sunday today that the four prisoners were subjected to torture, beatings, and humiliation, in addition to harsh detention conditions, as photos of the process of recovering their bodies show the presence of handcuffs on their hands, in addition to traces of torture.

The statement indicated that the occupation killed dozens of Gaza prisoners, whether in detention centers, or by executing them on the ground, while it continues to hide the identities of dozens of prisoners from Gaza who died in detention centers as part of the crime of forced disappearance to which Palestinian prisoners are subjected.

 “To this day, the occupation is not satisfied with the intensity of these crimes that are carried out in front of the world and in front of the cameras, but rather continues to incite the killing of prisoners and detainees as an aspect of genocide, and the Sde Teman detention center has been the most prominent example of these crimes.” The club added.

The Prisoner’s Club renewed its calls and demands to the United Nations for the necessity of opening an impartial international investigation into the ongoing crimes against Palestinian detainees and prisoners and field execution crimes. It also calls on the international human rights system to assume its necessary responsibilities in the face of the intensity of these crimes, to end the state of impotence that is damaging its role, and to take clear measures in order to accounting the occupation,

The statement pointed out that the occupation  continues to commit its  crimes with a green light from clear international powers that have worked to support it for decades, adding  the state of silence and lack of accountability have become central reasons for the continuation of these crimes that target the Palestinian existence and its right to self-determination.
