Palestinian Prisoners’ Society: The occupation’s use of prisoners as human shields is a grav3 violation of international laws and norms

Palestinian Prisoners’ Society affirmed that the Israeli occupation’s use of Palestinian prisoners as human shields is a grave violation of all international humanitarian laws and norms and a form of ongoing genocidal war against the people of the afflicted Gaza Strip.

The Prisoner’s Society said in a statement yesterday, reported by Wafa Agency: “The video clips that were published of the occupation’s use of Palestinians as human shields constitute an extension of an old, renewed approach. It is a form of an ongoing war of extermination against the people of Gaza, which daily reveals the reality of this occupation and the level of its brutality that no longer has limits”.

The Society indicated that since the beginning of the war of extermination in Gaza Strip, the level of crimes carried out against prisoners and their families has been unprecedented in intensity, and this is confirmed by the testimonies of hundreds of detainees who were released. It reiterated its call on the international human rights system to restore its necessary role and put an end to the occupation’s continuing crimes.
