Washington has provided thousands of bombs to support the Israeli war of annihilation in Gaza

Washington, (ST) – The continuous military support provided by the United States for decades to the Israeli occupation entity has intensified insanely since the start of the Israeli war of genocide on Gaza last October.

Official documents revealed that the administration of US President Joe Biden sent more than 10,000 bombs, each weighing 1,000 pounds, which is a huge destructive capacity, as just one of them can destroy an entire residential neighborhood, and kill hundreds of people, according to The American World Socialist website.

Among the many crimes in which “Israel” used these bombs was the aggression of last October 31, which, according to the site , destroyed the Jabalia camp and led to the martyrdom and injury of more than 400 Palestinians.

These bombs have a destructive power of up to 7.8 kilotons (one kiloton equals 1000 tons), which is equivalent to half the power of the atomic bomb that the United States dropped on Hiroshima in 1945.

The use of such bombs is confirmation of a clear Israeli-American plan for genocide and although the Biden administration was aware of the occupation forces’ use of these bombs in attacks and raids on residential areas, it provided thousands of them to “Israel.”

The Washington Post revealed that America has also provided security aid worth $6.5 billion to the Israeli occupation entity since the start of the brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7. It referred that nearly half of this amount flowed during the month of May.

The newspaper explained in its report that this previously unannounced figure was part of the discussions that took place this week during the visit of Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant to the United States, while an official in the Biden administration found no embarrassment in confirming that this amount is an indication of the depth of American support for “Israel”.

The newspaper pointed out that the United States has provided security assistance to “Israel” for many years’ worth $3.3 billion annually, and last April, the Congress approved Biden’s request for an additional $26 billion.
