External participation in the flower exhibition… displaying new types of plants and flowers and introducing the traditional products of each country

Since its inception in 1973, the International Flower Exhibition has enjoyed wide international participation, bringing to rose and plant lovers in Syria new types of plants, shrubs and flowers, in addition to displaying heritage artifacts that express the civilization of the participating countries.

Assistant Director General for Relations and Media in the Baghdad Municipality, Uday Kadhim, said  that they participate in the flower exhibition in Damascus on a regular basis, to learn about what is new in the world of flowers, plants, garden landscaping, and to display the folklore heritage products for which Iraq is famous for, including  landmarks of the city of Baghdad  that come in the  form of models, in addition to benefiting from  the information and experiences available in Syrian nature.

From Lebanon, Nour El-Din Shurbaji, agent of the Jabal Amel Company, indicated that they participate in the flower exhibition constantly by displaying varieties of magnolia, ficus, fittonia, Lebanese cedar and others, pointing out that the aim of participating in the exhibition is to develop work and cooperation between the two countries and enhance communication with specialists in this field and exchange experience, learning about new things in the field of agricultural supplies, fertilizers and medicines, and benefiting from joint meetings to conclude business deals in this field.

It is noteworthy that the activities of the 44th International Flower exhibition , organized by the Ministry of Tourism in cooperation with the Damascus Governorate, opened in Tishreen Park on the 26th of this month and will continue until the 14th of next July.

A number of local and international companies that specialize in the production of flowers, ornamental plants, medicinal plants  , aromatherapy, garden landscaping and supplies, in addition to displaying traditional crafts and small family projects participate in this fair .There are also   a number of cultural events including open-air theatrical performances.
