Al-Jaafari, Bogdanov discuss multifaceted Russian-Syrian cooperation
The Russian President’s Special Representative for Middle East and African Affairs, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov and the Syrian Ambassador to Moscow Bashar Al-Jaafari on Thursday discussed issues related to the development of multifaceted Russian-Syrian cooperation.
In a statement on Thursday, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that during the meeting, the two sides exchanged view points on the situation in and around Syria, including promoting the reconstruction of the country”.
The ministry pointed out that the Russian side affirmed its continued support for the all-out political process to solve the crisis in Syria on the basis of the unconditional respect for the country’s sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity.
