Syria condemns terrorist attacks in Dagestan, Russia

Damascus, (ST) – The Syrian Arab Republic condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attacks that occurred in the Republic of Dagestan in the  Russian Federation, which resulted in the deaths of a number of innocent victims.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement: “The Syrian Arab Republic condemns in the strongest terms the terrorist attacks that occurred in the Republic of Dagestan, Russia, which resulted in the deaths of a number of innocent victims.”

The ministry added in its statement: “Syria affirms its strong condemnation of all forms of violence and terrorism that aim to destabilize security and stability in Russia and sow discord among its people.”

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the Kiev forces’ missile attack on Russian citizens in the Russian Republic of Crimea, using American-made weapons, in conjunction with these terrorist acts, is nothing but another confirmation of the level of hostility that the collective West has reached towards the Russian Federation, and its disregard for the lives of innocent civilians.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “The Syrian Arab Republic affirms its support for the friendly Russian people, and has full confidence in the ability of the Russian Federation to confront these challenges.”
