Astana, (ST) – Syrian chess player Mazen Fandi won the silver medal in the Asian Championship held in Kazakhstan.
Fandi won the silver medal after coming in the second place behind the Iranian player in the 12-year-old category in classical chess for 90 minutes and 30 seconds.
