The tale of a refugee for a short time
He said to her :I want to leave my country, because the terrorists had destroyed my future and I should look for it in another place, in a new world.
She said to him: perhaps they had succeeded to destroy factories, buildings, bridges, forests, but they could not succeed to destroy our will, and you see that we are still alive as our homeland is alive.
He said to her :my memory is full of horrible images which go with me everywhere , these images became a bad nightmare.
: your memory will forget these difficult moments when we begin rebuilding our country , and it will keep just the good impression about everything from our homeland.
He said to her : my children remember just one colour (( the red colour)) , the colour of blood, they listen just to one song: the song of violence, they watch just one film: the film of crime and snatching and killing.
: your children will remember just one colour (( the green colour)) the colour of spring, they will listen just to one song the song of tolerance, they will watch just one film the film of hope.
She did everything that she can to lead her brother to change his decision; but he was listening to one invitation (( the departure)).
Maybe the tears of his sister stopped him for a short time; but he said to her goodbye and went.
He did not find the life in the new world as he thought , this magic country was not the land of dreams, happiness, the new society is too different from his old society where he was born.
After few months he felt a big nostalgia for his homeland, he phoned his sister and told her that he will return soon because he could not stay there as a refugee.
In the airport he found everything as he had left it, kind people receiving him with lovely smile, old streets full of tales, the tales of honour and belief.
His mother received her son with hot tears and warm smile at the same time, she forgot all his mistakes, because she was sure that he cannot live far from his wonderful country Syria.
