The main theme of the full work program of the Petersburg International Economic Forum bears the slogan “the Formation of New Areas of Growth as the Cornerstone of a Multipolar World”.

Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the Russian President, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Petersburg International Economic Forum 2024, said that in order to ensure stability in a multipolar world, it is necessary to create new centers of influence capable of presenting their vision of global problems and participating in the formation of a new world order.

According to Kobyakov, the Forum is a suitable platform for holding discussions at the highest level, as well as for expanding the scope of solutions, ideas and initiatives for all areas of public life and activities of the countries participating in the Forum.

The Forum includes more than 150 sessions with the participation of more than 1,000 speakers and supervisors. The events are supposed to reveal “Russia’s place and role in the emerging multipolar world.” The agenda also includes discussing the conditions for developing relations between countries.

The activities of the Petersburg International Economic Forum will continue until the 8th of this month.
