Gaza Media Office: The Nuseirat carnage is the 149th massacre against displaced people in shelter centers
The Gaza Media Office condemned the horrific massacre committed by the Israeli occupation at dawn today in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, which claimed the lives of about 40 displaced Palestinians, calling on the international community to immediately stop the ongoing crime of genocide against the Palestinian people.
The office said in a statement today: The occupation forces killed 40 displaced Palestinians at dawn today by bombing several rooms housing dozens of displaced people in an UNRWA school in the Nuseirat camp, pointing out that among the martyrs were 14 children and 9 women, in addition to the injury of 74 displaced persons, including 23 children and 18 women.
The office pointed out that Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city of Deir al-Balah in the middle of the Gaza Strip was filled with the bodies of the martyrs and those wounded as a result of this crime that shames humanity.
The hospital has been loaded as a result with three times its clinical capacity, which portends a real disaster that will lead to an even greater increase in the number of martyrs.
The office stated that the school for the displaced, which the occupation targeted today, is the 149th among the total number of shelter centers housing displaced people, which have been bombed by Israel using missiles, tank shells, and artillery, in a brutal, systematic targeting of tens of thousands of Palestinians there.
The office held the American administration fully responsible for these crimes against humanity and crimes against international law, stressing that the international community and all international organizations and institutions must put pressure on the occupation to stop the crime of ethnic cleansing that has been continuing for 244 days in the Gaza Strip, and that all international courts must prosecute Israeli and American war criminals who systematically target children and throw them into a holocaust the likes of which the world has never witnessed.
