50 diverse companies at the opening of the 3rd “Hala Bel Eid” Festival in Aleppo

With the participation of 50 companies for food, textile and chemical products, the activities of the 3rd  “Hala Bel Eid” ” Welcome Eid” festival, held by Aleppo government and The Kenana Foundation for Exhibition and Conferences, opened yesterday evening on the grounds of the old Hanano Al-Karraj market and will last for ten days.

A member of the Executive Office of the Aleppo Governorate Council, Eng. Muhammed Fayyad explained in a statement to SANA that what distinguishes the festival for this year is the wide participation for the companies and food production factories from various governorates. These factories provided various types of food and consumer goods that meet the needs of citizens for shopping before Eid Al-Adha, which are of high quality and competitive with descounts ranging between 15 and 30 percent.

He added: The governorate provides all necessary support to hold these festivals with the aim of paving the way for medium and small companies to market the national product directly to the consumer in a way that contributes to activating and supporting the economic movement.

Kenana Alloush, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Kenana Foundation for Exhibitions and Conferences, said: The festival aims to help people shop by offering a wide variety of goods at cost prices from the producer to the consumer to meet the needs of the Aleppo family for consumables, clothing, Eid sweets, household appliances and detergents.

Sweets maker Orabi Abu Bakr said: He offers various types of Arabic Eid sweets and pastries, including cakes, shortbread, and barazek, at competitive prices.

Muhammad Tayfour said: He participates in men’s, women’s and children’s ready-to-wear clothing at discounts exceeding 50 percent, considering that the festival represents an opportunity to market his products through direct sales to the consumer.
