Moscow, (ST) – The activities of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum began on Wednesday with wide international and Arab participation, including Syria, and will continue until the 8th of this month.
The Forum is held under the title “The Formation of New Areas of Growth as the Cornerstone of a Multipolar World”and meetings are scheduled to be held for small and medium-sized and creative companies.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to speak at the plenary session of the forum on June 7.
Syria is participating in the forum with a delegation led by Finance Minister Kenan Yaghi.
