Czech politician: The West insists on targeting Syria despite its failure to reach its goals there

PRAGUE, JUN.4, (ST)-The former Czech ambassador to Syria, Eva Filipi, has asserted that the Western countries provided various types of support to terrorist organizations such as ISIS, Al-Qaeda, the Muslim Brotherhood, and others, but they failed to reach their goals in many countries.

In an interview with Czech Radio Universum, the politician  indicated that the West is determined not to acknowledge its defeat, and to this day it has not stopped seeking to target Syria, even though its goals there have failed.

Filipi clarified that much of the information that was published and broadcast in the West and in the Czech Republic about developments in Syria since the beginning of the terrorist war against it was false and distorted and did not reflect reality.

She added that during her presence in Syria for 13 years as an ambassador she had not believed anything unless she had seen it with her own eyes, or she verified it. So she was sure that the information which was being published by Western media is fake.
