Today saw the start of the activities of the 8th session of the International Syrian Industrial Exhibition in the Exhibition City

With broad local participation, the activities of the 8th session of The International Syrian Industrial Exhibition, organized by the Arab Group for Exhibitions and Conferences, in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry, will start today and continue until the 8th of this month, on the grounds of the New Exhibition City in Damascus.

Director of the Arab Group for Exhibitions and Conferences, Alaa Hilal, indicated in a statement to SANA that the participations include many brands and cover various specialization of the industrial sector, including machinery, automation, production lines, energy, industrial electricity, packaging, printing, paper, laboratories, medical industries, etc., in addition to specialized contributions in the field of renewable energies.

Hilal pointed out that the exhibition is considered an opportunity for local and foreign companies to work together and cooperate with industrialists from the government and private sectors.This will reflect positively on the Syrian industry as it is the main wheel of growth and has the highest added value in terms of the domestic product and job creation, investment and export opportunities.

According to Hilal, the 8th session of The International Syrian Industrial Exhibition will witness the organizing company launching the upgraded version of its exhibition management system, which launched its first version in 2022. The system includes an application designed to facilitate visiting the exhibition, gaining knowledge  about it and the exhibiting companies, and communicating with them.

This edition of the exhibition coincides with the 21st session of the International Building Exhibition “Buildex”, which is held in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. It also coincides with the 10th session of the Information and Communications Technology Exhibition “HITECH”, which is held in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Technology and the third HITEC conference on smart systems, which are also organized by the Arab Group for Exhibitions and Conferences.

It is noteworthy that transportation to visit the exhibition is provided free of charge via bus that departs regularly and around the clock.
