The Second Batch of Children Participating in  Zopronok camp leaves for Belarus

Damascus-(ST)- The second batch of the Syrian delegation, which includes 74 children from the Distinction and Creativity Agency, in addition to 6 supervisors, left for the Republic of Belarus to participate in the Zopronok Health and Recreational Camp.

The camp aims to help Syrian children who have suffered as a result of war and terrorism, and were affected by the repercussions of the economic sanctions and coercive measures against their country, with the aim of providing them with care, healthcare, and recreational, educational and sport activities.

Assistant Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Anas Al-Dabash explained that the students were selected as a reward for their diligence, and to motivate the rest of their colleagues to strive and excel, stressing the importance of the camp in exchanging experiences and learning about the ancient cultures and civilizations of the two friendly countries.

The Ministry of Culture’s participation is represented by sending 14 outstanding students, under the supervision of the Director of Technical Rehabilitation at the Ministry of Culture – Director of the Salhi El Wadi Music Institute, Priam Sweid, where they will participate in several musical activities, culminating in a concert presented by the students on the third day of the camp.

It is noteworthy that on May 15 of this year, the first batch, which also includes 74 children from charitable organizations concerned with orphans from various governorates, and 6 supervisors, left for the Republic of Belarus to participate in the Zopronok health and recreational camp.
