Settlers seize areas of land south of Bethlehem
Occupied Al-Quds,( ST)- Israeli settlers today seized areas of land in the village of Artas, south of the city of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.
Lutfi Asaad , the head of the village council, told Wafa News Agency that settlers stormed into the areas of Jabal Abu Zeid and Khallet al-Qatn in the village and seized areas of land with the aim of expanding a settlement built on village lands.
Asaad pointed out that settler attacks under the protection of the occupation forces have taken an escalating trend since the occupation began its aggression against Gaza Strip on the 7th of last October, as attacks on farmers and landowners in Khallet al-Qatn and Jabal Abu Zeid have been repeated, and fruit trees have been uprooted.
