Egypt warns against harming the safty of guards deployed at borders with Gaza Strip

Egypt has warned against harming the safety of Egyptian guards deployed on the border with Gaza, the Egyptian Cairo News Channel quoted a high-ranking Egyptian source as saying on Monday.

Earlier, the Egyptian army announced the martyrdom of a border guard in a shooting incident with Israeli enemy soldiers in the border area with Gaza Strip, indicating that it is investigating the incident.

Spokesman for the Armed Forces explained that the Egyptian Army is conducting investigations, through competent authorities, into the shooting incident at the border area in Rafah.
