Activities of the International Scientific Conference on Digital Transformation launched in Damascus with Arab and foreign participation

With Arab and Foreign participation, the activities of the International Scientific Conference on Digital Transformation and its Implication for Sustainable Development launched today in Damascus. The Conference is organized by the Faculty of Economics at Damascus University in cooperation with the National Union of Syrian Students and “Tafa’ul” Interactive Foundation for Exhibitions and Conferences, with the aim of examining contemporary research and experiences in the field of digital transformation and its role in sustainable development, and learning about ways to apply digital transformation in all fields.
The participants will discuss over 3 days at the Damascus University auditorium 5 topics including:
1.    Challenges facing accounting and auditing professions in the era of digital transformation.
2.    Digitization as a strategic option for supporting financial inclusion.
3.    The role of E-management in sustainable development.
4.    The digital economy and its impact on economy growth
5.    Modeling and measurement in digital transformation.
Researchers and specialists from Arab and foreign countries, including Algeria, Iraq, Jordan, Oman, Lebanon, Egypt, Sudan, Iran, India, and the United Kingdom, are participating in the conference, in addition to the participation of a number of ministries, government agencies, institutions, and private companies in Syria.
 The conference is also accompanied by a scientific exhibition in the Reda Saeed Conference Hall, and a peer-reviewed scientific competition for many digital transformation research papers by researchers and graduate students with the aim of opening the way for the participation of researchers, young people, academics, and those interested in the digital transformation project and in order to discuss the reality of digital transformation, the strategy for its implementation in the government sector in Syria and the Arab and foreign experiences.
