Through the Syrian film “Two Days”, the Syrian National Film Organization is participating in the twenty-fourth edition of the Rotterdam Arab Film festival, which begins at the end of this month in the Netherlands. The film was written by distinguished artist Duraid Lahham, directed by Basil Al-Khatib and screenplay by Talid Al-Khatib.
The Syrian film will compete within the framework of the feature film competition with eight films from the Arab world.
The film, which stars the distinguished artists Duraid Lahham and Osama Al-Romani, alongside a group of stars, tells a social story that shows the features of domestic violence and the dangers it can cause in society.
33 films will participate in the festival, which will last until the second of next June, within the various programs of the festival. This edition is distinguished by its focus on showcasing the diversity and richness offered by Arab cinema through a platform that expresses the social and humanitarian dreams and visions of Arab directors.
