Bagheri Kani receives a phone call from Lavrov

TEHRAN, May.25, (ST)-Acting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov have affirmed their commitment to the strategic partnership and multilateral cooperation between Moscow and Tehran.

The Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Bagheri Kani as saying on social media: “I received a phone call from Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on continuation of the diplomatic communications and meetings…..We reviewed bilateral and multilateral programs.”

He added: “Lavrov made it clear during the call that mutual bilateral, regional and international cooperation is growing and that the path of multilateralism is the strategic choice for Iran and Russia to form a just world.
