President al-Assad to the Jordanian Delegation : the Syrian People, Despite the War of Aggression will always be with Preserving Jordan National Identity, State

DAMASCUS,(ST)_ President Bashar al- Assad today received the Jordanian delegation, representing  the Foreign Affairs council for public diplomacy organization, led by Nahed Hatar.

President al-Assad stressed during the meeting the importance of peoples delegations comprising  various intellectual elites and social groups to create a popular movement on the Arab arena, as essential tools in the face of schemes imposed on the peoples of the region.

President al-Assad also stressed that the Syrian people, despite the war of aggression they exposed to will always be with brotherly Jordan and support their struggle to preserve its national identity and the state of Jordan, reiterating Syria’s refusal of what is being plotted in the region in order to devote “ Israel” as a Jewish state, as intended by the plan of the U.S Secretary of State John Kerry, including emptying Palestine of its Arab people and liquidating the Palestinian cause at the expense of Palestine and Jordan.

For their part, members of the Jordanian council considered Syria’s steadfastness as a mainstay for foiling the plot targeting the Arab countries because what the Syrian people are facing is an introduction to perpetuate western projects in the region,, including alternative homeland for the Palestinians and ending their right of return.

They stressed that one of the goals of the Council is to mobilize the Arab public opinion against terrorism not only in Syria but in the whole region, stressing that the Jordanian people will not accept prejudicing Syria and her approach
