Ministries of health and social affairs discuss cooperation for enhancing NGOs work

Minister of health Hasan Al-Ghabbash and Minister of labor and Social Affairs Louy Al-Munajjed on Sunday discussed ways to support and enhance the work of Charities and non-government organizations and to improve the services provided to patients.

Al-Ghabbash stressed the importance of enhancing dialogue, partnership, and framing the work between the Ministries of Health, Social Affairs, and Labor and the private sector to serve the local community, by defining the foundations on which charities and NGOs work. He noted the need to create an appropriate work environment to reach higher performance, better effectiveness and productivity, and to listen to proposals of these organizations, before making any decision in order to specify their needs.

For his part, Al-Munajjid said facilities are being provided to charities and non-governmental organizations to further exercise their role, reach the beneficiaries, and help them secure their work needs in coordination with the various concerned parties.
