President Al-Assad holds talks with Bahraini King, Saudi Crown Prince, Iraqi President on sidelines of Arab Summit in Manama
Manama- President Bashar Al-Assad met with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain on the sidelines of the 33rd regular session of the Council of the Arab League at the summit level, held in Bahrain on Thursday.
The two leaders discussed bilateral ties between Syria and Bahrain and ways to enhance inter-Arab relations in a way that serves the interests of the peoples of all Arab countries.
President Al-Assad highly appreciated Bahrain’s efforts to make the 33rd Arab Summit a success and to strengthen inter-Arab relations.
For his part, King Hamad reiterated his country’s support for Syria to restore its stability.
President Al-Assad also met with Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
The two sides discuss cooperation in contribution to attaining the region’s stability and strengthening inter-Arab relations.
President al-Assad hailed Saudi Arabia’s role in enhancing Arab-Arab cooperation and coordination.
For his part, Prince Mohammad bin Salman asserted the need to intensify dialogue between the two countries, pointing out that Syria’s strong return to play its pivotal role in the region serves the interest of all the Arabs.
Moreover, President Al-Assad held talks with the Iraqi President Abdul Latif.
Rashid on cooperation between the two countries, particularly in combating terrorism and strengthening economic ties and political coordination.
The two leaders affirmed the need to intensify inter-Arab consultations on key rehional issues.
