With the Participation of Syria, the Work of Executive Council of Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization Begins in Saudi Arabia
Jeddeh -(ST)- With the participation of Syria, the work of the 121st regular session of the Executive Council of the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) began in Jeddah.
In the presence of the Secretary-General of the Syrian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, Dr. Nidal Hassan, the participants discussed the dangers threatening the city of Jerusalem and the educational, cultural and scientific conditions in Palestine.
They also discussed a report on implementing the strategic plan for international cooperation, partnerships and diversifying the organization’s self-financing sources.
The Director-General of the Organization, Dr. Mohamed Ould Omar, presented a report on the implementation of the organization’s programs and the implementation of activities outside the programs for the year 2023.
While the speeches of the Director General of the Organization, Chairman of the Executive Council, Hani bin Muqbil Al-Muqbel, and the representative of the President of the Arab League, Dr. Ola Al-Badri, stressed the importance of the meeting and its expected results in light of the circumstances that the Arab region is going through, especially the conditions in occupied Arab Palestine.
