Al-Mikdad meets with his Saudi and Egyptian counterparts on the sidelines of the Arab Foreiegn ministers meeting in Manana

Manama- Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Mikdad on Tuesday met with the Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan in Manama and discussed with him ways of enhancing the Syrian-Saudi relations.

The two sides expressed their satisfaction with the development witnessed in this relationship, and their efforts to develop it in various fields.

The two ministers also discussed the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the occupied Palestinian territories due to the Zionist entity’s continuous genocide crimes against the Palestinians. They affirmed the need to stop these crimes and ensure the flow of humanitarian aid to the war-striken Palestinians.

Al-Mikdad highly appreciated the efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia during its presidency of the 32nd Arab Summit and its tireless efforts to enhance joint Arab action.

Al-Mikdad also met with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri and discussed with him developments in the region, especially the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The two ministers stressed the need to unify Arab positions in the confrontation of the Zionist plans to displace the Palestinians, and to stop the crimes of genocide against them, and providing urgent and unconditional relief aid to them.

Al-Mikdad-Shukri meeting also focused on bilateral relations and need to continue consultations to enhance cooperation and coordination in a way that serves the interests of the two brotherly countries and joint Arab action.
