For the third time in a week, settlers set fire to the UNRWA headquarter in Al Quds

At dawn today, settlers set fire to the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees  in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in occupied Al Quds.

Wafa Agency reported that the settlers threw flammable materials at the headquarters and ignited fires that affected parts of the outer courtyard. Wafa noted that this is the third attack on the UNRWA headquarters within a week, as a number of settlers attacked it under the protection of the occupation forces last Wednesday and Thursday, and tried to storm into it and set fire to its surroundings.

On the 9th of this month, the Agency’s Commissioner general, Philippe Lazzarini, announced the closure of the headquarters in Al Quds due to an attempt by settlers to burn it.

Yesterday, settlers set fire to two trucks carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, which were being held by the occupation forces at one of their checkpoints in the town of Tarqumiya in Al Khalil(Hebron), after they looted their contents.
