Tearing to shreds the UN Charter by the Zionist entity’s representative to the UN is absolute insolence

Spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Naser Kanaani condemned the behavior of the Zionist entity’s representative to the United Nations when he tore to shreds the UN Charter following the vote of the UN General Assembly on Palestine full UN membership. He described this behavior as insolent.

Kanaani said on X that “after the killing more than 34,000 unarmed Palestinians, including women, children and elderly within 7 months of crimes and genocidal war and after unprecedented blatant violations of international laws, regulations and international human rights, they are waiting for encouragement from the international community. This is actually absolute insolence in a Zionist manner”.

He pointed out that the UN member states have always kept silence as regards the crimes and violations of the Zionist entity, noting that insolence means disrespecting and considering the UN Charter as being of no value.

Yesterday, the UN General Assembly adopted by majority a resolution confirming the right of the state of Palestine to obtain full membership in the UN, and recommending that the Security Council positively reconsider this issue.

The outcome of the vote saw an immediate rebuke from “Israel”, with its representative Gilad Erdan destroying the UN charter with a tiny shredder in front of the assembly, in complete disrespect for the UN member states and laws.
