Abdullahian: The Israeli occupation continues acts of terrorism and genocide

Tehran-(ST)- Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian affirmed that the Israeli occupation entity continues its policy of terrorism and genocide in Gaza Strip and is now trying to create another humanitarian disaster in the region by closing the Rafah and Kerem Shalem crossings.
Abdullahian, in a phone call today with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, strongly warned against the continuation of this dangerous approach of the Zionist entity, calling for increased pressure, especially from the United Nations, on this entity, and for it to play a greater role and hold a meeting in the presence of the Secretary-General and the countries influential in this issue, with the aim of helping Palestine.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also warned the United States of the dire consequences that supporters of the war would face, and their involvement in this way with the Zionist entity in committing new crimes in Rafah.
For his part, Guterres appreciated the Iranian measures and positions aimed at establishing peace and security in the region, noting that the United Nations affirmed its firm position on the necessity of a ceasefire and ending the war in Gaza Strip as soon as possible.
