UAE, Tunisia condemn Israeli occupation forces’ storming into Rafah crossing

Abu Dhabi- (ST)- The United Arab Emirates strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ storming into and control of the Rafah crossing in the southern Gaza Strip, warning of the consequences of the military escalation that threatens to cause more innocent victims.

The Emirates News Agency reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed in a statement the UAE’s strong condemnation of any forced deportation of the brotherly Palestinian people and any practices that violate the resolutions of international legitimacy and international and humanitarian law, which will lead to the exacerbation of the humanitarian tragedy that the Gaza Strip is witnessing.

The UAE Foreign Ministry called on the international community to exert all efforts, without delay, to reach an immediate ceasefire to avoid inflaming the situation in the occupied Palestinian territory and prevent the region from being dragged into new levels of violence, tension, and instability.

It also stressed the need not to expose the flow of humanitarian aid to any risks or obstacles that would limit the arrival of life-saving aid to the population in Gaza Strip, stressing its position that calls for a return to negotiations to achieve a two-state solution and establish an independent Palestinian state.

Tunisia calls on  International Community to stop  war of genocide in  Gaza Strip

On its part, Tunisia called on the international community to stand united against the war of genocide and forced displacement committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in the stricken Gaza Strip.

In a statement issued yesterday evening the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration urged the countries of the world to stop this massacre immediately, especially since the occupation continues its arrogance and criminality in blatant defiance of international and humanitarian law and is preparing to commit a major massacre under the eyes of the world against more than one and a half million Palestinians in the city of Rafah.

Tunisia renewed its firm position and unconditional support for the Palestinian people in their struggle to regain their legitimate, inalienable rights that are not subject to statute of limitations, foremost of which is the establishment of a fully sovereign Palestinian state with (Al-Qud (Jerusalem) as its capital.
