Syria takes part in the 35th Tehran International Book Fair

The Iranian Capital Tehran hosts the 35th International Book Fair with the participation of publishing houses from Syria and other countries. More than 2619 publishing houses and about 70 Iranian government institutions are taking part in this event.

Activities of the fair are held under the slogan “Let’s Read and Create, and they will last for 10 days.

Yasser Ahmadvand, head of the current edition of the fair, said that publishers are taking part virtually and in-person, which is a turning point in enhancing knowledge and progress in the field of reading and writing.

He pointed out that the fair has dedicated special programs on Gaza and Palestine, as well as different programs and symbolic works showing the steadfastness of the people of Gaza
