DAMASCUS,(ST)_The men’s national soccer team are currently holding a two-day training camp in Damascus.
The camp is part of the team’s preparation for taking on Jordan in the 2015 Asia Cup qualifiers.
Before leaving for Jordan, Ahmad Shaar,the team’s coach, has invited 12 local players to join the short period warming- up sessions.
They are:Omar Midani,Omar Jiniat,Abdul Ilah Hafian,Ibrahim Alma,Mahmoud al-Bahar,Osama Omari,Yusuf Alfa,Ez Eddin Awad,Tarek Khurbatli,Taha Mousa,Ahmad Ashqar and Mohammad Shareefa.
Shaar also invited the following 14 pros.:Musaab Balhous,Muayad Ajjan,Omar Khribeen,Hussein Juwaid,Hameed Mido,Hamdi Masri,Burhan Sahyouni,Mohammad Zaher Midani,Ahmad Douni,Abdul Nasser Hassan,Mahmoud Mawas,Ahmad Salih,Nasouh Nakdali,and Sinhareeb Milki.
Actually, it will be a decisive match for the national team as they are in dire need for the three points to lift their tally to seven points only to keep their hope alive to book a spot in the Asian Cup finals which will be staged in Australia.
