President Al-Assad, Al-Fayyad hold talks on cooperation in the field of combating terrorism and border control

Damascus (ST) – President Bashar Al-Assad discussed with the head of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq Faleh al-Fayyad strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the areas of combating terrorism, and effective coordination to control borders and pursuit extremist organizations and their remnants that seek to target the security of Syria and Iraq.

President Al-Assad stressed that terrorism, which is based on killing and bloodshed, is the same everywhere in the world, noting that the supporters of terrorism in Syria and Iraq are the same as its supporters in other places, regardless of the names of those terrorist organizations.

President al-Assad praised the steadfastness and strength of the Syrian and Iraqi armies, which were the basis for achieving successive victories against terrorists and their supporters.
