The Islamic Summit Conference calls for an immediate halt to the Israeli aggression against Gaza

Occupied Al-Quds (ST) – The Islamic Summit Conference called for an end to the Israeli aggression against Gaza Strip, and stressed the need to take action to stop the crime of genocide committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people in the Strip.

The final statement issued by the 15th session of the Islamic Summit Conference, which was held in Banjul, the capital of Gambia, stressed the necessity of confronting the humanitarian catastrophe occurring in Gaza due to the Israeli aggression that has continued for more than six months with no consideration of the most basic moral and humanitarian values.

The statement called on the countries of the world to take action to stop the crime of genocide committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, to implement the precautionary measures ordered by the International Court of Justice, and to make every effort to accelerate the arrival of all humanitarian aid to the Strip and to reject any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land.

The statement stressed the steadfast support of the conference countries for the Palestinian people in their struggle to obtain their legitimate rights and establish their independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.

It called on the international community to pressure the occupying authorities to adhere to international law and the UN resolutions on the Palestinian issue, and to end their illegal occupation and the policy of apartheid that they practice inside the occupied Palestinian territory.

The statement stressed the need to take all measures to protect Al-Quds Al-Sharif from Judaization attempts pursued by the Israeli occupier.
