Student camp and sit-in at Trinity College in the Irish capital in solidarity with Palestine

Dublin, (ST) – Students from the prestigious Trinity College in the Irish capital, Dublin, set up a camp on the university campus in protest against the ongoing brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza and in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

According to AP, the students today closed the entrance to a building that usually attracts many tourists, describing their mobilization as a camp of solidarity with Palestine in the wake of the increase in similar gatherings in Europe and the United States.

The Head of the university’s student union, Laszlo Molnarvi told the Alla TI television channel: The protesters are demanding that the university sever its relationship with “Israel” because of its aggression against Gaza.

The student protests that began in American universities has expanded into universities in a number of countries to demand an end to the Israeli aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip.

Rejectiin of the aggression is intensifying in Ireland, where thousands of people went out in marches to demand a ceasefire, while the new Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris announced in mid-April that he was ready to recognize the Palestinian state. He considered that this could help in the peace process in the Middle East.
